BRIAN GRIVNA

Brian, a freelance musician in the Twin Cities, has spent 12 years as a staff woodwind player at the Guthrie Theater and has toured with the Buddy Rich Band. He has performed and recorded with the Minnesota Orchestra and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. He has been a regular on “A Prairie Home Companion” and played in a number of Broadway pit bands. He teaches saxophone and jazz improvisation at Macalester College and the University of Minnesota.
