New Artistic Director, JC Sanford, will share some old and new takes on these legendary artists in his debut performance leading the JazzMN Orchestra! George Gershwin was one of the most prolific composers of American popular music, and his songs continue to be performed and reinterpreted in modern times. Count Basie led one of the most influential big bands, both as codifying an ensemble style and as a vehicle for great composers and arrangers like Benny Carter, Frank Foster, and Quincy Jones. JazzMN will also welcome back the swinging and soulful voice of Ms. Debbie Duncan.
